Eligibility
Applications to these opportunities are considered for all available Software Engineering intern roles including the ones described below, depending on education level and/or location. To be considered for an internship or college student position, you need to be enrolled full-time as a student majoring in an applicable field.

International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

    Program Manager

    1. Currently pursuing a PhD degree in engineering, computer science or related field with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship.
    2. A year or two of experience programming in C++, Java or other computer programming languages preferred.
    3. Some experience building software beyond the classroom environment like an internship or related experience for customers strongly preferred.
    4. Ability to demonstrate understanding of computer science fundamentals that affect code implementation and customer experience.
    5. Demonstrated ability in feature definition, design and feasibility
    6. Familiarity with managing complex project schedules and nurturing cross-group collaboration.
    7. Demonstrated ability in estimating development time and relevant challenges to delivery.
    8. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to create an open and collaborative team culture.
    9. Demonstrated skills in negotiation and conflict management.

    Software Engineer

    1. Currently pursuing a PhD degree in engineering, computer science or related field with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship.
    2. A year or two of experience programming in C++, Java or other computer programming languages preferred.
    3. Ability to demonstrate understanding of algorithms, data structures and other systems architecture factors that affect code quality, performance and customer experience
    4. Some experience building software outside of the classroom environment like an internship, hackathon, research project or related experience preferred.
    5. Demonstrated skill in time management and completing software projects in a cooperative team environment.
