Question 1

How does Duewhistle match scholarships to my profile?

Accepted Answer

Duewhistle compares your saved profile with the recorded criteria on active scholarship listings whose sources have been verified. Your profile needs at least one subject, your home state, and your current education level before matching can return results. GPA range, eligibility notes, and academic or career goals are optional. A match is a useful starting point, not a guarantee that you meet every requirement, will receive funding, or will be awarded a scholarship.

Question 2

What if I have not added every profile detail or my GPA?

Accepted Answer

If your profile is missing a subject, home state, or education level, Duewhistle returns no matched results until those required details are saved. GPA range, eligibility notes, and goals are optional. If you leave GPA blank, that missing information alone will not rule you out of a match.

Question 3

What does Duewhistle check on scholarships I track?

Accepted Answer

Recurring checks read tracked scholarship source pages for deadlines and eligibility requirements. Each check is recorded as verified unchanged, verified changed, unavailable, or failed, so you can tell whether the source confirmed a result.

Question 4

When will Duewhistle try to email me a change alert?

Accepted Answer

Duewhistle attempts an email alert only when a check verifies a changed deadline or eligibility requirement for a scholarship you track. If a source is unavailable or ambiguous, or a check fails, the last verified information is kept and no change is confirmed. Those results do not trigger a change alert, and other changes to a listing are not covered by these alerts.

Question 5

Can I make and edit a checklist for a tracked scholarship?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While signed in, you can add checklist tasks, change their wording, mark them complete or incomplete, and remove them. Your saved checklist is still there when you return to that tracked scholarship.

Question 6

What is included in a weekly checklist-progress report?

Accepted Answer

For tracked scholarships, each weekly report saves a snapshot of the tasks marked complete and the tasks still remaining. The report is emailed when delivery succeeds, and it stays in your report history with its delivery status. If email delivery is not completed, you can still view the saved report in Duewhistle. A report is a snapshot from that week, not live checklist progress.
